Top 5 water mirrors

Today we’re exploring an unbelievably useful tool for design, architecture and landscaping: Water.

Ponds and pools are beautiful for many obvious reasons, but one of their most overlooked effects is their ability to reflect light.

Think about the many reasons why mirrors are included in indoor rooms. They make the room seem bigger, add luminosity, and add an expansive feel. Apart from this, reflective water surfaces spread a sense of calm and quietness.
They can also create the optical illusion of floating in the air by seamlessly merging the sky or the surrounding nature with its reflection.

We selected five projects that used these reflections to their utmost advantage.
